BRENDA S. CARR
Brenda S. Carr, 76, of Jasper, Tennessee, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Born on September 5, 1949, to William Brown and Katherine Goforth Brown, Brenda spent her entire life in the community she loved.
She was married to the late Robert W. Carr, with whom she shared many cherished years. A devoted member of Bible Baptist Church, Brenda’s faith was the foundation of her life. Even when she could not attend in person, she faithfully watched church services online, finding joy and comfort in worship. She also enjoyed watching Billy Graham, Westerns, murder mysteries on television and was an Atlanta Braves fan. Brenda was a homemaker throughout her adult life, pouring her heart into caring for her home and family. She often described herself as a “homebody,” and those who knew her understood how much she treasured the peace and familiarity of home. Her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and quiet devotion to those she loved will be remembered always.
Brenda is preceded in death by her father, William “Dickey” D. Brown; mother, Katherine Brown; and husband, Robert W. Carr.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jody Lee Carr, Robert “Bobbe” W. Carr, III; daughters Angela Carr Stone, Crystal Smith; brothers, Joe David Brown, Richard Charles Brown; sister, Anita Jane Mosley; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
