CLARA M. HALE

Clara M. Hale, 86, of Harrison, Tennessee, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 1, 2026. Born on December 16, 1939, in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Milton Cobb and Mattie Mae Cobb.  Clara lived a life marked by faith, compassion, and service. She was married to the late Bobby Hale, Sr., and together they built a home filled with love, generosity, and devotion to family. A longtime member of Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, she faithfully served as a choir member and Chaplain for many years. She was also a member of Abba’s House in Hixson, Tennessee.  A dedicated caregiver by nature and by profession, Clara worked for many years as an LPN in South Pittsburg, where she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit and steady hands. Her love for children led her to open her own daycare, Clara’s Kids, where she nurtured little ones with patience and joy. Clara also served as a foster parent for many years, ultimately adopting several children and giving them a loving home.  Clara’s heart for others was evident in everything she did. She never hesitated to help someone in need, offering a meal, a place to stay, or simply a listening ear. Her faith guided her, and her kindness uplifted everyone blessed to know her.  She loved to sing, filling her home and church with music. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and was especially known for her unforgettable homemade rolls, a treasured favorite among all who tasted them.  Clara’s legacy is one of love, service, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, church community, and all whose lives she touched.
