OLEN EDWARD “BUDDY” FULLER

Olen Edward (Buddy) Fuller, a lifelong resident of Jasper, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026.  He was a 1980 graduate of Marion County High School.   Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Fay Fuller.

Left to cherish his memories are his brother, Gene (Dawn) Fuller; sisters, Gina Fuller Young and Marty (Terry) Murphy; nieces Casey (Brian) Maddox, along with their children, Rowan, Lucy and Margo; Autumn Martin, along with her daughters, EmmaLyn and Raelyn; nephew, Blaine Fuller; nephew, Heath (Lee) Young and their family; and niece, Amber (Josh) Presley and their family, as well as a host of cousins and friends.  He is also survived by Ashlyn (Jody & Vada) Moore and Caleb Foster, who were not his biological children, but whom he loved as if they were his own.

Buddy lived a simple life and took each day as it came.  He enjoyed football, especially the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Green Bay Packers, as well as supporting the Marion County Warriors.  He loved spending time with his family and many dear friends, whom he cherished. He enjoyed a good meal (especially if it included fried squash), and fishing in his favorite pond.  He had a heart as big as Texas (where he was born), and when possible, would help those in need.

Visitation is on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm CST and on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Adam Ramsey and Brother Gene Fuller officiating.

Buddy will be laid to rest on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Mickey Green, Dr. Eddie Calhoun, Brian Phillips, Jr., Beas Womack, Blaine Fuller, Caleb Foster with honorary pallbearer Freddie McCulley.
